Attack scenarios
An agent can be manipulated. Your security controls shouldn't be.
System prompts, safety instructions, and model guardrails can all be undermined by malicious or misleading content. An agent may follow an instruction hidden in a document, a repository, or an external tool response.
Ring Zero Security doesn't rely on the agent to recognize every malicious instruction. It enforces access and execution policies independently of the agent's reasoning.
- 01The agent reads untrusted content.A project README carries a hidden instruction.
- 02The instruction redirects the task.Fetch the API keys from .env.
- 03The agent tries to open the secret.cat ~/payments-api/.env
- 04 · REFUSEDThe read is refused. · REFUSEDEnforced at the operating-system level, whatever the agent was told.
- 05The attempt is on the record.Agent, action, rule and decision, ready to investigate.
The agent may have been manipulated. That doesn't mean it gets the secret.

The skill is flagged the moment it lands, and whatever it tells the agent to do still hits the agent's limits.
Skills are scanned on the machine. Removing a flagged skill is your call.

Watch it work
A real agent session. The work runs, the risky steps don't.
Recorded from the product on a test machine. The agent does its job; what falls outside its permissions is refused and lands in Security history.
Claude Code adds rate limiting to an API. Reading .env, using sudo and sending a secret in a prompt are refused. The tests still pass.
Before your AI agents get more access, decide what they should be allowed to do.
Protect sensitive data. Control execution. Govern tools. Keep the evidence.
